My First Mother's Day + Origami Owl GIVEAWAY Winner

Hello, friends! I hope you had a great weekend and Mother's Day! I had a wonderful first Mother's Day weekend. Saturday morning I left the boys for a few hours while I photographed the most adorable family at the Circus. It was such a fun session and I left there feeling incredibly inspired. I can't wait to share photos with you tomorrow. Later that afternoon the three of us went down the road for a little nature walk. It had been threatening rain most of the day but was still very warm. Because of the humidity the mosquitoes were eating us up so we didn't stay out very long.

Sunday we joined my grandparents for brunch at St. Ives Country Club. I recently bought a  new dress for my sister's graduation in a couple of weeks but decided that it would make it's debut for brunch. I love it! (I wish I had a floral print and polka dot print dress just like it!) The food was amazing! I don't think Benjamin will ever stop talking about it. Haha. I definitely indulged. Baby Benjamin wore the suit that his older cousin, Aiden, wore at his age for my sister, Sarah's, high school graduation. I love that he'll be wearing it to our youngest sister, Jaydean's, graduation.

I'm so bummed that I don't have a photo to share of us with my grandparents. We asked two separate people outside of the clubhouse to photograph us and none of the photos came out. I really don't get it. They were either blurry or cut off. Boo! I think next time we're going to have to hand people the iPhone because those photos always seem to come out!

The rest of the day we lounged around the apartment and had a movie day. Benjamin is so fun to watch play right now. He is ALL over the place! It cracks me up when he finds himself halfway under the couch or changing table. He's also sitting up now! He can play while sitting and his stomach muscles are strong enough that he doesn't have to lean forward now. He still does, though, because he's discovered how much he loves to suck on his toes. Ha!
Thanks to everyone who entered to win an Origami Owl Living Locket! I'm happy to announce that the winner is...
