Nichole + Matthew | Dekalb County Courthouse Wedding | Atlanta, Georgia

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Nichole's courthouse wedding to Matthew. Nichole and I met at Buckhead Church when we both joined a singles gathering group a year and a half ago. We hit it off instantly and had so much in common. It's amazing to see how God has changed both of our lives so much in this short time. God is so, so good! When Nichole told me that she and Matthew would be getting married at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Decatur I was thrilled. It was fun for me to be able to shoot at the same location that Benjamin and I were married back in February. I loved experiencing it from the other end of the camera and it was so special for me to be the only witness to their private ceremony.
Nichole is such a classy lady and so fashionable. I loved the bits of chartreuse that she and Matthew wore! The color really popped and was so complimentary to all the aqua throughout Decatur Square.
Across the courtyard is the beautiful Old Courthouse on the Square. It made for such a beautiful backdrop -- so full of texture and history. So romantic!
After taking their photos around the square and courthouse we were walking toward our cars together when we spotted this awesome brick building. I'm so glad we stopped for more photos because these are among my very favorite from the day! Aren't they so fun?
I am so happy for these two!! Nichole and Matt -- Congratulations, again, my friends! Wishing you infinite years of love and happiness! And lots + lots of silliness.
