Week Three | Check In


Hi, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful week. I have intentions of writing more often and will be sharing some new creative projects soon. This last week was insane! I've had today and yesterday off from my job but have kept pretty busy getting caught up with everything else. Over the weekend I attended a seminar called Relating or Dating?. That was the best $20 and 12 hours I've spent in a long time!! I'm still letting everything settle in and am praying over some of the decisions I've made but very soon I want to share it all with you! God is working in me every day and it feels fantastic!

OK. So, today was my weigh day. I had some challenges this week finding the time to work out but I still had a loss of 2.2 lbs! This brings my total during this challenge to 7.8 so far (reaching my first goal of 10 lbs since getting back on WW!!!!) Here is the breakdown for Week 3:

No alcohol.>> Still easy. I haven't put myself in a situation where other people have been drinking, honestly.
No coffee drinks.>> It's been fine not drinking coffee; I never was a huge coffee drinker before moving to Georgia this past Summer anyway, but I am realizing I miss the novelty of swinging by Starbucks "on the way..."
No fast food.>> A total breeze. I try not to think about french fries. Period.
Dessert 2x per week.>> This has been all about making good choices. This week I actually stuck to the goal! I ate a Krispy Kreme donut one night and had frozen yogurt another.
Cardio 3 hours per week.>> Even though I started the week off strong with one hour of cardio I still ended up 43 minutes short. I didn't work out at all for 3 of the days.
Strength training 1 hour per week.>> *shaking my head* Terrible. I got in 10:30. Better luck next time. ♥
