This week was almost too much! Benjamin will be five months old in 8 days and he's been growing in leaps and bounds this week. He moved up to size 3 diapers (my FOUR MONTH OLD!) and probably should have 2-3 lbs ago. He's been teething, which has meant for some tough days and nights, but all his work is paying off because I can now see a little tooth bud popping through on his lower gums. Yesterday I had to give him Tylenol twice and we picked up Hyland's Teething Gel and some new freezer teethers. He really likes them! He's been very mobile this week, twisting and turning, all but lifting his head... until this morning! I officially have a baby that rolls. He's good at it too! So much so that he rolled over the other day in his crib and got his foot stuck. Out his blankets went and now he sleeps in a sleep sac. Ben had to lower his crib that night and I cried because he's growing so fast. Yes, I'm one of those moms. I love it and I can't stand it, all at the same time.
Our allergies were really bad last week and by last weekend I felt like I might be sick. Ben was great and helped with the baby a lot so that I could rest or get things done on my own. Thankfully, after only a few days, I was feeling better. Wednesday we went to my friend, Chanel's house for a playdate and mommy craft day with another friend and her baby (they left before I got a photo of the three boys). It was really fun! We painted shoes which I'll be sharing here next week and I decorated a mini chalkboard sign for over Benjamin's crib. I've been obsessing over chalkboards lately and wanted something I could change up on a whim.
Tomorrow we're going to the zoo with my mom's group and I could not be more excited! It's going to be a large group of us and the first time many of the husbands/dads have met one another. Be sure to come back by on Monday for photos and a cool GIVEAWAY announcement! Happy weekend, friends!
