2013 Swimsuit Search

It feels a little weird thinking about swimsuits when it's 40 something degrees out and we're experiencing snow flurries here in Atlanta. If the fact that it's already the end of March, is any indication, Summer will be here in the blink of an eye. I typically don't obsess too much about what I'm going to wear and am usually more than happy to wear a swimsuit of years' past but this year is different. I had a baby(!) and although I am down to the weight I was before I got pregnant, I wear the weight differently. My stomach muscles are still weak and the skin a bit flabby (ew), not to mention the many stretch marks I'm sporting. I know I should embrace it - I carried a baby in there for 9 months and I am grateful for all that my body has done for me - but I'm not even completely comfortable being naked in private right now. Never have I been more aware of the fact that donning a swimsuit is practically the same thing as walking around in your underwear. I am not typically one to be self conscious about this type of thing! Couple that with the fact that my husband's family reunion is in Florida this Summer and I haven't met most of his family. There is a little bit of pressure in that! And so, I've been spending quite a lot of time browsing online for the perfect suit. I've been pleasantly surprised by the options there are for cute one-piece suits. I have compiled this list of my very favorite. I'm loving the bright colors, bold patterns, and unique shapes of these suits. They are not cheap, but quality rarely is, and I'm looking for something that will flatter, support, and last.
