Simply Smitten : Graphic Tees for Baby

It's been a while since I posted a Simply Smitten feature and I have some good stuff to share with you this month - starting with these awesome graphic tees! This is a trend I am loving right now. There are so many ways to wear a classic graphic tee and they're absolutely adorable on babies. Here are some of our favorites:
1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 (Sold out from H&M. Alternative, here.) And here are some honorable mentions. Loving this "Dude" Hoodie too!
Here is Benjamin in the aforementioned Mickey Mouse tee from H&M. My favorite thing about this t-shirt is that the back of it is the back of Mickey. So cute! This is mine and Ben's current favorite outfit of Benjamin's. I can't stand how stinkin' cute he looks! He's wearing a poorly sized pair of grey pants as shorts from Target. I received them as a gift at one of my baby showers and he never wore them as pants because although they're marked 3 months they're easily 6+ months around. However, they run on the short end as pants. I remember my sister telling me last Summer that the shorts my nephew was wearing rolled up [and ever so adorable] were really baby pants so we tried that and I love how these look!! They remind me of the shorts we put on Benjamin's Spring Wishlist! He's also wearing his hand-me-down black Chucks which definitely complete this look.
I've mentioned it before but I am a huge fan of layers. Wearing layers is functional during Spring when temperatures vary throughout the day, but they're also a way to add intrigue and fun to an outfit, like you can see with this striped onesie. In this particular outift the onesie served another purpose. I found this Tiger Graphic Tee recently at a thrift store for $2. It's a size 2 but had clearly been washed and dried because it looks closer to 12 mo. I personally hang dry nearly all of my son's clothes (as well as my own) because I want them to last and I can't stand faded, pilling clothing. This tee was in otherwise great condition and I loved the bold graphic (can't go wrong with animals, either!) so by layering it and pairing it with [new to him] denim jeans it bulked him up a bit and now he doesn't look to be swimming in it. I'd call that a win! I found these jeans at Kid2Kid, new with tags, for $4.99. For that price I don't feel so bad that he'll probably never wear the onesie that came with them. [Ignore the spit up on Benjamin's shoulder. He added that special touch for free.]
