Picnic at Piedmont Park | Atlanta, Georgia

So, I just realized that in all the excitement of my 30th Birthday Celebration giveaway week, I completely forgot to post these photos from my actual birthday spent at Piedmont Park in downtown Atlanta. You may remember the commitment ceremony I photographed there last June? Well, it's a really big park! My birthday was supposed to be the nicest day we've had here in a while and I had it in my head that I wanted to have a picnic. That morning I made up a bunch of sandwiches and packed them up with snacks and cupcakes and we headed out. It was gorgeous out for most of the time! It did get a little windy here and there. There were a lot of people out which made the day great for people watching and incognito photographing (which I love to do!) My bestie, Candice, was in town and came with us and then Ben's sister, Nikki, and her husband, Derek met us there. While the three of them practiced for softball (which starts this weekend - so excited!) Candice and I strolled around with the baby. It was a wonderful time and a beautiful day!
